At last, I was able to go to McKinley Hill (my basang basa sa ulan moment)

Seeing McKinley Hill in the night time is romantic. I haven’t been to any of the restaurants but going around the area during heavy rains tell me that the place is wonderful to see during the daytime (without the rain of course). Working home based for the last two years had made me more appreciative of the places I haven’t been to which includes McKinley, The Fort, and so on . Coming out exploring away from the comforts of my home made me realize that there’s a lot of beautiful places to see in Metro Manila. I like the facade of SM Aura but that’s along Market Market. I was enjoying the view while looking for a ride going to McKinley Hill when suddenly the heavy rains fell down on me. And just to make this experience more enjoyable I started singing “Basang-Basa sa ulan” by Aegis. I was smiling when the rain becomes so heavy that half of my jeans are so wet and my poor shoes were filled with water. What an adventure! I told myself,  one very important lesson I learned tonight is the fact that it’s very difficult to travel when you are in the night shift. The small issues we have to face when we commute going to work, and one of them is walking through heavy rains. But seeing how wonderful the place is and as I try to envision myself working for one of the companies there, I guess it will be all worth it.
