What happened to Steve of Blues Clues?

Hi! Happy weekend Everybody. After sometime, I really haven’t seen Blues Clues on TV. And here in Manila we have no Idea why he left the show. Well what we knew that back then was he was off to college and that his cousin is taking over the show with Blue. There were a lot of rumors as to why he left that very popular show. But rumor has it back then, that the main reason why Steve left the show was because he had some sort of psychological problem which of course was not true. And what we knew back then was that Steve was an actor from Australia. Well I did a little research and I am amazed at how simple and nice this guy is. And the reason why he left the show was because his hair starts to get thinner and he does not want the kids to watch him get bald on tv. So after the show he shaved off his hair something that he wanted to do but he was not able to because the of the show. And after that, he started playing with a band and he just probably wanted to live the normal he had before.

Something about Steve of Blues Clues; He’s now 40 years old and He is from Pennsylvania not Australia. He’s a musician and he worked as a voice-over artist in NY before he became Steve of Blues Clues.

True to the fact that we had a lot of new and educational TV shows on cable and on the local tv channels. One of the most loved Children’s show was Blues clues. I was able to find videos of his interview posted years ago. Steve Burns of Blues Clues is still alive and he is doing good. The other video on the other hand is from Themoth.org (you can view it on youtube) Steve described to the audience what was life after Blues Clues and things he loves to do for some children, It was funny and very heart warming. It’s just sad that people would make fake stories about him all the time after all the cool things he had done for a lot of Children all over the world. This guy just wanted to live a private life now, so we just have to let him be . Steve, for my kids you are the coolest! Thank you for that wonderful show Blues Clues. You Rock! I wish you good health and many blessings.

I’m sooo back

     It’s never too late to start writing blogs again. A lot of things good and bad happened to me through the years and it is a very wonderful experience for me. A lot of people may agree with me when I say that it takes determination for a Blog or an article writer to post something online to keep your passion and the momentum from going and motivating yourself to write. To even think about what to write is a challenge. You may find it difficult to write an article if you are having hardships more so personal problems. So it is best that you keep that fire burning inside your heart. And also it is never too late to get back to blogging because you have a lot of ideas in your mind. There are a lot of things to write and a lot of ideas shared to you by a lot of new found friends or people you met everywhere. And it is just a matter of time that you start working on your laptop again.

2.On page 1 write down a clear description of your major Desire in Life. – “The one circumstance or thing to accept as your idea of success. And remember before you begin writing, that you’re only limitations are those what you set up in your own mind or permit others to set-up for you.”

3.On page 2 of your notebook, write down a clear statement of “what you intend to give in return for which you desire in life. And then start in why you stand now to begin giving.”

4.Memorize both statements.

5.Repeat a dozen times daily.

Grateful for…

Today I am truly grateful for Mommy, last night she placed a loaf of bread and cheezwiz on our table at least we have something to eat for breakfast, My kids enjoyed eating all of it.

I am grateful for today because I have good internet connection from the provider…

I have time to post another blog here…

It’s starting to rain that is why – it is not too hot…

I was able to sleep for 8 hours 😀 yes it is something i look forward to…

My daughter is feeling better after having Amoeba…Thank you Lord…

In four days it’s payday so I’ll be able to buy my kids their books for school…

We have electricity…I don’t know if I can live without it…most specially our electric fans 🙂

My sweet daughter Yangka is swiping the floor – yes, she’s cleaning now so that means she’s back to her normal self 🙂

I feel great, no coughs, colds and fever…and the best part of today is…

no work…I can sleep with my kids tonight..

Ang Itim na Nazarenong humubog sa akin

 Ang imahe na ito ay nakuha ko lang sa Google maraming salamat sa may-ari ng imahe ng Poong Nazareno na ito. Pagpalain ka ng Diyos Ama sa pag share mo sa lahat. Maraming Salamat po.

Marami ng nasabi sa mga deboto, kadalasan hindi maganda. Madalas ang sabi nila ang mga namamanata ay ipokrito, at babalik sa dati nilang masasamang bisyo o pag-uugali pagkatapos ng kapistahan. Nahiya naman kami sa inyo, at malamang tama rin kayo sa naturing ninyo. Ikaw? nagsisimba ka ba? Para magpasalamat ba? o baka iba rin ang sinasamba mo?

Ang kahit sino sa atin walang karapatang manghusga ng Kapwa. Kung hindi mo kayang magbigay respeto sa Senyor Jesus Nazareno. Wag mo na lang pagsalitaan ang mga taong katulad namin na sa kanya ay deboto. Tandaan mo, makasalanan ka rin kagaya namin. At sa mga debotong katulad ko, sana hindi bulag ang iyong pagsamba at paniniwala. Hindi dahil napapanahon lang saka ka lang nakikita. Ang debosyon sa Poong Nazareno ay ginagawa araw-araw.  Patunayan mo sa lahat na isa ka sa nabiyayaan at patuloy na ginagabayan ng Diyos Ama sa pamamagitan ng Senyor Jesus Nazareno. Ipakita mo ang pagbabago dahil sa pagmamahal sa atin ng Diyos Ama, sa pamamagitan ng Mahal na Jesus Nazareno.

Ihahalimbawa ko ang sarili ko sa puntong ito, noong 1994 nagsimula ang pagsimba ko sa Quiapo, dahil sa sobrang haba ng byahe ko mula Pasig hanggang Mendiola at pabalik, ang byahe ko ay higit 2 oras noon pagpasok at pauwi sa byahe pa lang kumakain ng 5 oras sa araw-araw na byahe..at napakahirap sumakay ng jeep sa Univeristy Belt – naging tambayan ko ang simbahan ng Quiapo. Bukod sa maraming mauupuan ligtas naman sa loob…at maski nasa gitna sya ng syudad na ubod ng ingay at dumi, sa maniwala kayo at sa hindi napaka tahimik sa loob ng simbahan at malinis. Doon ko naramdaman ang katahimikan. Ang dami kong problema sa Pamilya at Eskwelahan noon. At dahil sa madalas kong ginagawa ang magpalipas ng oras sa simbahan – dahil nagpapalipas oras ako ng rush hour noon; natuto akong magnobena, mag rosaryo at doon ko nakita ang pag-asa  sa piling ng Diyos Ama. At simula noon, hindi matatapos ang bawat taon na hindi ako pupunta ng Quiapo at magsisimba para magpasalamat. At sa haba nang panahon, sa Quiapo Church pa rin ako tumatakbo kapag gusto kong maghinga ng sama ng loob. Kasama na  diyan yung mga panahong nagkaproblema ako sa Pamilya ko. Nagkahiwalay kami ng Mister ko at mga naging problema ko sa trabaho, sa pera, sa mga kaibigan ko at mga nakasamaan ko ng kalooban..lahat sinasabi ko sa Diyos Ama, doon ako umiiyak – ang mga bagay na ito hindi ko magagawa sa simbahan sa may amin dahil maraming nakakakilala sa akin. Pag nakita nila akong umiiyak baka mapag usapan pa ako at makarating pa sa magulang ko; mag-aalala lang sila sa akin,  hindi ako mapapanatag pag ganun…pero sa Quiapo marami akong katabi na di ko man kilala at palakasan pa kami ng pagsinghot ng sipon dahil sa pag iyak, may problema man parepareho, lahat kami ay naniniwala sa himala ng Diyos Ama.  May mga panahon pa na nakahuntahan ko pa ang mga vendor sa Quiapo. Kasama na dyan yung mga manghuhula at mga oras na tumitingin sa mga paninda, damit ng bata, dvd at marami pang iba. At bawat taong sumisimba ako sa Quiapo,  sa awa ng Senyor Nazareno nahubog ang pagkatao ko. At hangga’t kaya ng katawan kong nagkaka edad na pupunta at magsisimba pa rin ako sa Quiapo. Husgahan man ninyo ako, wala akong pakialam, pagtawanan nyo man ang paniniwala ko. Sa dami ng mga pinagdaanan ko…di ikaw, o kayo ang nakakatulong sa akin, ang alam ko lang sa buong buhay ko – walang ibang makakatulong sa akin kundi ang Diyos Ama lamang. At siya ang naghubog sa akin at ito ang ipinagmamalaki ko ng lubos na ako, kagaya mo ay anak rin ng Diyos Ama. At tayong lahat Mahal nya.

I am a firm Believer that we all deserve some better days…and I know we will have it…

For my New Year’s resolution, I’ll see to it that I’ll write on my page as often as I can….hope you guys will enjoy reading my posts…

I have been blessed with so many things last year and I am truly grateful – for new found friends, for wonderful bosses, for having wonderful kids and a very supportive family. I am thankful for Rhonda Byrnes, She helped me changed my outlook in life. It does not mean that I was brainwashed…my faith with the Lord is unshakable. So let’s leave it at that. It’s just that her writings about life and how to have a positive mindset worked a lot for me.

And I believe that all of us deserves to have everything this Universe can offer it’s just a mindset about everything…thus saying we need to be thankful for all that we have and that we need some more. I was so down last year from stress and responsibilities at home. I have no other choice but to do it. But when I accidentally saw a dvd called the secret. I watched it and I couldn’t stop watching it for the whole week. and It helped me look for a better job with good pay and the Bosses are really nice. I learned how to visualize what I want and in just a couple of days…I have it…just a matter of positive thinking and owning it.

I believe good things come to those who wait.

Christmas is just around the corner…

     Just like my kids, I am excited to celebrate Christmas this year. A lot of good things happened to me and my kids and I just wanted to celebrate a blessed year. I want our Christmas to be  stress-free and I want to make sure my kids will like it too. The most important thing is that the values that Christmas brings to us – like the celebration of the birth of our savior Jesus Christ is reflected upon and being respected. And that the kids learn the value of – being grateful.

     I am planning on the meals I want to prepare. This will be the first time ever that my kids and I will celebrate it together…Yes, that is true. Like what I’ve said before, I have been working for BPO companies for years and we’re required to work even on the holidays. And this time it’s going to be different because I work from home now and my days off are saturdays and sundays – and Christmas, as well as the New Year falls on a saturday and sunday. Hurray for weekends!!

     Meals. I wanted to prepare simple pasta dishes either Pesto or Fettucine Alfredo. I was browsing the web when I come across (which for me is the best site for all my Pasta cooking research)  http://www.videojug.com  they have all the procedures and ingredients on how to prepare simple but delicious pasta dishes – and the best part is that it’s on video. So please visit the website if you want to know more about Pasta dishes and how to cook Pasta. It’s the best website for great simple and flavorful Pasta dishes.

     Decorations. Having Christmas decorations make kids happy and it keeps me busy too. But it can be quite expensive at times. So, I’d probably buy decors at the dry goods section of the Pasig City Market. The prices are cheaper just like Divisoria – although Divisoria’s way cheaper 🙂 but the travelling costs is almost the same so I’d still think about it.

     Gifts. I need to have a specific budget on buying gifts for kids. I have been secretly buying Christmas gifts for my 3 children and hide it inside my closet. Prices actually goes up during the Christmas season so, it’s best that we buy things earlier , to prevent you from being all too stressed – out because of the season. SM department stores have cute items for php 69.00 – above. Landmark in Makati is the best shopping place for me…Well’ it actually depends on what plans you have and what you want to buy this Christmas season. But for me, I’ve been asking my kids who they wanted to give simple gifts this Christmas. It’s mostly their classmates and some playmates. I ask them 10 names and we’ll put it on a list then we buy cute small gifts for them, not too pricey though. It makes them feel the gratitude of having good friends around. Not too many, but enough to keep a lifetime.

     Something for ME. I always have a budget for a good Manicure and Pedicure. As well as fabulous hair coloring. I don’t do hair treatment because I have gray hair eversince I was a kid. I don’t want my hair to be all too cooked-up with those hair treatments because my hair needed extra care also. I’m always grateful for my good friend Marjorie of Honeyz salon because she takes good care of my hair for more than 7 years now. I’d probably add spa this time.Yeah, I deserve it too 🙂

     Always remember, work your way around your budget – never spend more than what you have or how much you can still produce  – but the most important thing is make sure that YOU are having fun doing it.

Now that I work from home and keep my kids company at night. I love my job and I love working from home 🙂

I have been referred by a good friend, Willy has been my Quality Analyst at the previous call center I worked for. He referred me to this wonderful company. Pay was way better than what I earned before  and the people are wonderful. God bless them all…
